The turbine generator set of the methanol synthesis by-product saturated steam power generation technology project, designed, manufactured, and supplied by Boxu New Energy for Weinan High-tech Zone Weihe Jieneng Co., Ltd., successfully passed performance acceptance on November 6th and completed project delivery, following its successful initial commissioning, grid connection, and operation.

This project is primarily designed to recover energy from the by-product saturated steam of the methanol synthesis steam drum, representing a typical chemical waste heat recovery power generation initiative. The turbine operates with a rated inlet steam temperature of 229°C, an inlet steam pressure of 2.75 MPa.a, an exhaust pressure of 8 kPa.a, and an inlet steam flow rate of 55 t/h. The project has an installed capacity of 12 MW. Following commissioning and operation, the high-power saturated steam turbine generator set has demonstrated stable performance, with outstanding vibration control. The measured shaft vibration of the turbine is below 10 μm, while the highest monitored bearing vibration of the generator is 1.6 mm/s, reflecting the exceptional performance of the unit.

The turbine generator set utilizes medium-pressure saturated steam as its steam source. After expansion within the unit, the steam's moisture content increases, creating a high risk of water erosion and thus presenting significant challenges in design and manufacturing. The unit incorporates several saturated steam turbine technologies developed by Boxu New Energy:

1. **Multiple anti-water erosion measures** have been adopted, including inter-stage steam-water separation.
2. **High-efficiency, high-reaction flow passage technology** is employed. The flow path is optimized using three-dimensional design, resulting in internal efficiency superior to that of similar domestic units.
3. **A single-layer layout with axial exhaust** is implemented. This reduces exhaust resistance losses, improves the overall unit efficiency, lowers building height, simplifies foundation structures, and significantly cuts construction costs.
4. **A high degree of automation** is achieved, featuring one-touch startup capability. Operations such as turbine startup, speed ramp-up, and grid synchronization can be completed with a single command. Warm-up points and durations during the startup process are automatically determined by the program.

The success of this project is the result of the client's strong support and the collaborative efforts of the project team, showcasing the concentrated technical advantages of Boxu New Energy. Boxu New Energy remains committed to its positioning as an **"Industrial Energy Station and Power Equipment Supplier,"** dedicated to creating value for customers and contributing to the **"Dual Carbon"** goals.
