Recently, the waste heat utilization project designed, supplied and commissioned by Boxu New Energy for Zhejiang Rongxiang Heating Co., Ltd. has been successfully put into operation! Efficient collaboration, turning waste into treasure
The core process of the project lies in the cascade energy recovery of waste heat:
High-pressure flash evaporation: 14MPa, 298°C high-pressure condensate enters the flash evaporation system, and instantly produces saturated steam with a pressure of 1.1MPa and a temperature of 185°C.
Steam turbine power generation: The saturated steam generated drives a high-efficiency saturated steam turbine unit to generate electricity.
ORC re-power generation: The waste heat contained in the remaining 1.1MPa and 185°C saturated water after flash evaporation further drives the ORC generator set to conduct deep power generation and realize the "dry and clean energy".
Excellent performance and efficiency leadership
Even when the owner's total heat load is only 50%, the system has shown excellent operating performance: the measured efficiency of the saturated steam turbine unit is more than 76%, and the measured efficiency of the reactionary axial flow ORC generator set is more than 80%. Such impressive data lays a solid foundation for the project to achieve higher efficiency goals at full capacity, and all parties are full of confidence.

Fast installation: Boxu New Energy's technical team provided professional guidance throughout the process, and efficiently completed the mechanical installation and commissioning of the flash system, steam turbine system and ORC system in only 50 days.
Perfect joint commissioning: In the system joint commissioning stage, Boxu New Energy engineers worked side by side with partners to overcome many technical challenges, working day and night, and finally ensured that the three sets of subsystems were successfully connected to the grid for the first time, demonstrating strong technical strength and project execution.
