Boxu Shares Innovative Turbine Technology to Promote Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction in the Coal Gasification Sector

On June 20, 2025, the 2025 (4th) China Coal Gasification Technology Innovation and Coal Water Slurry Gasification Technology Exchange Conference, hosted by the China Coal Chemical Industry Network and the National Coal Chemical Industry Collaboration Alliance, was grandly opened in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The conference brought together over 50 leading enterprises and research institutions, including Shenhua Coal-to-Liquids, Guoneng Baotou Coal Chemical, and Jiangsu Huachang Chemical, to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as coal gasification technology upgrades, coal water slurry gasification applications, and the integration of green electricity and hydrogen.
As a supporting organization of the conference, Boxu New Energy participated in the event and delivered a keynote presentation titled "Application of Boxu’s Innovative Turbine Series in Chemical Energy Conservation", providing practical energy-saving and consumption-reducing solutions for the industry.


During the conference speech, Ding Zhendong, General Manager of Boxu New Energy, highlighted the advantages and case studies of Boxu's innovative turbine technology in chemical energy conservation, particularly in coal gasification applications.
Boxu New Energy's high-power, efficient multi-stage axial ORC technology and specialized steam turbine technology have been successfully applied across various coal chemical processes, including coal gasification. A notable example is the Qianxi Chemical Project in Guizhou.
In February 2025, the Qianxi Chemical Coal Gasification Black Water Flash Steam Waste Heat Recovery Project, designed and supplied by Boxu New Energy, was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. This project addresses challenging operational conditions in coal gasification, including high-humidity saturated steam, corrosive and impurity-laden vapor, and significant steam load fluctuations. Boxu’s specialized turbine technology, featuring erosion resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, was successfully deployed.
By utilizing flash steam from gasification black water to drive the turbine generator set, the project achieves efficient recovery of low-grade waste heat, providing strong support for the enterprise in energy conservation, consumption reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.

As an innovative practitioner in the field of chemical energy conservation, Boxu New Energy demonstrated the practical value of its innovative turbine technology in chemical energy recovery through this conference. Moving forward, the company will deepen technological innovation and further promote the application of advanced turbine solutions in large-scale coal chemical projects, creating greater value for customers.
